About Me

Introduction

image5

Hello! My name is Victoria Karalun. I am thirty-seven years old, have been married for fifteen years, and have a nine-year old son. I also have six cats and six goldfish. I grew up in England but moved to California on my own at the age of twenty. My interests and passions involve reading, photography, writing, researching, art, watching movies, listening to records, travel, and self-growth. I also love attending college and conferences and learning all I can. I am an active part of my college's Honors program, including being an Honors Ambassador, and am a member and co-president of  Psych Club. I am currently studying Psychology and English at the undergraduate level. I am a deep thinker and am naturally analytical and curious about human nature. I am a member of the American Psychological Association. I previously ran a photography business which began with a focus on birth photography and became more centered on family and child portraits. Through birth photography, I became very familiar with the process of birth, which has fed into my interest in women's issues. I have spent time volunteering for a local midwifery practice and fostering cats.
