Hello! My name is Victoria Karalun. I am forty-years-old, have been married for eighteen years, and have a twelve-year-old son. I also have seven cats and six goldfish. I grew up in England but moved to California on my own at the age of twenty. My interests and passions involve writing, reading, photography, researching, art history, learning languages, watching movies, listening to records, travel, and self-growth. I am a deep thinker and am naturally analytical and curious about human nature. I previously ran a photography business which had a focus on birth photography; I photographed over one hundred births. Through birth photography, I became very familiar with pregnancy, labor, and delivery, which fed into my interest in women's issues. As a result, much of my research has centered on pregnancy and birth. I have presented my original research at forty conferences in California, Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, Missouri, and Louisiana. I graduated from Crafton Hills College in 2022 and was the commencement speaker to approximately 3,000 attendees. I was an active part of my college's Honors program, including being an Honors Ambassador. I was president of Communications Club and co-president of Psychology Club. I have spent time volunteering for a local midwifery practice and fostering cats.
My goal is to bring love, beauty, and understanding to the world. All of my work is to that goal. With college behind me, my focus is now on my writing.
